Shipping & Returns Policy | Factory Direct Floors Shipping & Delivery Options

At Factory Direct Floors, we strive to make getting your new flooring as easy and affordable as possible.

Free Terminal Pickup

We’re happy to offer free shipping to your local freight terminal. This is our most cost-effective option and allows you to pick up your flooring at a convenient location near you. Once your order ships, we’ll provide detailed pickup instructions and the terminal address.

Residential or Business Delivery

If you’d like your flooring delivered directly to your home or business, we can arrange doorstep delivery through one of our trusted freight partners.
  • Residential or business delivery fee: $300 (flat rate within the continental U.S.)
  • Delivery includes curbside drop-off; additional services such as inside delivery may incur extra fees.
Our team will contact you to schedule a convenient delivery time and ensure your order arrives safely and on schedule.

Processing & Delivery Times

Most in-stock flooring orders ship within 3–5 business days after payment is processed. Transit times typically range from 5–10 business days, depending on your location and the selected delivery method.
You’ll receive tracking information as soon as your shipment leaves our warehouse.

Inspecting Your Delivery

Please inspect your order immediately upon pickup or delivery.
  • If there is visible damage to the packaging or flooring, note it on the delivery receipt and contact us within 12 hours so we can assist with replacements or claims.
  • Do not install damaged materials, as doing so may void the warranty or return eligibility.

Refund Eligibility

To qualify for a refund:

 

  • The product must be in its original, undamaged, and resalable condition and packaging.

  • Submit a refund request within 30 days of delivery by calling (208) 233-0074, using Chat, or via Email. You’ll receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and the return shipping address.

  • Arrange return shipping at your expense and ensure the RMA number is included on the shipping labels.

  • Upon receipt, the product will undergo a quality inspection. If deemed in good condition, refunds will be processed within 3-7 business days.

 

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are excluded from returns:

 

  • Products that have been installed or removed.

  • Custom-made, made-to-order, or special-order products.

  • Clearance, overstock, and discontinued items.

  • Underlayment, sundries (e.g., adhesives, and moisture control products), trims, and moldings—unless defective.

 

Additional Fees

  • Returns requested after 30 days may incur up to a 35% restocking fee.

  • Exchanges are subject to a 10% restocking fee.

  • Returns without approval or missing an RMA number will be refused and subject to additional fees.

 

Cancellation & Exchange

  • To cancel or modify an order, call (208) 233-0074.

  • Changes may not be possible if the order is already in production or has shipped, and additional fees may apply.
